North West 200 date set

The North West 200 road races will be staged on Saturday 17 May. This date has been chosen so as not to clash with the British Superbike Championship.

As Mondello Park is not featuring in the BSB calendar for 2008, there is a possibility they may host an event with “sizeable prize money” the weekend before, if there is sufficient interest from riders and teams.

Are they still running the 400s, 250s, and 125s this year Bob?

I had heard rumours that they were looking at changing some of the classes.

Thanks Bob. I get the DVD for the NW200, and the summary of the Irish Road Racing every year. Brave lads. Bruce Anstey was in a class of his own last year (apart from the first Superbike race of course).
