    6V flasher unit -- WTB

Hi - I want to buy a 6V flasher unit for my Suzuki DR500. Anyone got one? It could be off any model. Mind you, I bought a Honda one secondhand and it just buzzes - must be knackered I guess. As long as it has two wires coming out of it ... -- it's the last thing I need to get it on the road.

6v flasher units readily available from Auto Sparkies (may need to order it).
Work out the CP (candle power)/ wattage first or it will not work properly. Talk to any A/S that sells Hella products.

A 12V electronic one will work just fine.

ALmost bought an electronic one. But first, decided to pull the old unit apart. Cleaned the contact points - still no good. Then, I bent the bimetalic strip support a micron or two in the right direction, and presto, it began to work.
