One could point out that when one is old and fat, yes, one generally must bring something immediately to the table other than one's body and wit, and when one is young and attractive, one has difficulty extracting oneself from the attentions of women who decide that not only will they not require you to pay for the sex, they will also not require you to pay for the privilege of subsequently lavishing vast quantities of attention on them.

One could subsequently point out that when one shags a hooker for an up-front cash payment, one is paying as much for the ability to walk away immediately afterwards with a guarantee that neither you nor anyone else will hear about it from her ever again, as for the sex itself.

In response to the possible retort that there are pleasant, attractive women out there who are just interested in no-strings-attached sex, with no rocks hidden below the surface of their pretense, one could also point out that the hundreds of hours of painful, pointless effort that would probably be necessary to find those women might be better spent reading a good book.
