I recently posted on here just looking for rideouts whilst on holiday and was really lucky that some extremely nice men took me out. What I wasn't looking for was a relationship and by sods law that was what I found. What I am trying to say that maybe if you friend enters into the who bike rideout scenario without any expactations she may find that she is lucky enough to meet a nice guy. It appears that often men, and women for that matter are like buses, when you want want you can wait for ever and the minute you stop expecting one 10 come along all at once. I hope that you friend meets someone special.

What exactly am I implying???? or more to the point..what are you implying???..Look mate..I posted this thread in good faith....The lady in question is a good sort, simply wanting to hook up with a male freind who owns and rides bikes, as her interrests lies there also. I would gladly take her on my bike, but the last time I looked...one can only have 1 pillion at a time...and that spot simply has to be resgistered to my wife. So please people..try not to show your true colors for a change.

Not critising..merely stating my point of veiw..and when last checked..we still live in a country that allows such..also not laying down ground rules...mere stated the lady in question preferences re: style of bike. Getting upset with some responses..pssh..not a chance..I take it from where it comes...
It amases me how many comments one gets on these threads..mostly nothing to do with the accual topic..and mostly from young riders who either dont even own a bike...or ride some 250 on a restricted...
So yeah...I will state my opinion...if you dont like it...lump it...

BUT your good lady friend in her early forties is desperate to meet a single guy who has to own a Sport type bike. If said biker owns a harley or big ugly jap cruiser then she isn't interested.......

She is by no means desperate at all..but lets face it..there might just be male out there that would prefer having a lady freind to spend time with instead of spending time at home alone with hand on meat...but then again...thats more than likely wishfull thinking on my part judging by your response..

It is far better that your friend meets like-minded people who have simlar interests that trawling bars etc (not that I am implying she is desperate) wasting her time with men she may well have nothing in common with. You never know there may be a guy on here who is looking to meet a genuine, intelligent woman but is a little shy and this may provide the perfect opportunity for him to meet a decent woman too. Here's hoping!!
