While we're on the subject of changing oil, does anyone have any idea how to get around the filter leaking oil on my headers problem other than taking the headers off?

My fizzer has the oil filter at the front of the crankcase, behind the headers. Its covered by a finned alloy cover which you have to undo the bolt at the front of to get off. When you do this the oil leaks out of the bottom of the cover and drips all over the headers.

My solution so far has been to put a rag under the oil filter cover so that the oil drips onto this but its kind of messy.

I guess I have to remove the headers to really make sure this doesn't happen but crikey, there's got to be a better way doesn't there?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
