A lot of the examples quoted here are not really sexisim are they. I mean the bloke that told someone they got the job because of their assets or some one ragging you on the job because you are a gurl....
Most of that happens because the person making the comment is a bully or a moron.
If you were of a different race, age, size etc they would all find some thing they didn't like about you and give you are hard time or make frigging stupid comments.
In the real world, people DO get hired because of their assets. We hired a wonderful person here because she has a wonderful broadcast voice with an interesting accent. (well ok it was not the only reason but it was a deciding factor). It's not an insult because part of the job involves a lot of cold calling. If you have an appealing look, you will be do better in some jobs. Face it!
TV News is unlikely to hire a hideously deformed news reader with a screachy irritating voice are they?

Most sexist remarks come from the same people that also make agist remarks, bully the apprentice, make fun of 'darkies' etc etc. I think some times to just call the remark 'sexist' when there is so much else wrong with the person making them.. well it's a bit bloody wet...
