Christmas party Upper north island. Dec 4th

Christmas party Upper North Island. Dec 4th
    Palm Springs Parakai

Meet at BMW NZ -7 Pacific Rise Mt Wellington at 9.30am

Bring a toy to donate to the sallys. We will ride to the central city with about 800 other bikes.
We will meet at 12.00pm at the shell service station at the end of the North western Motorway. A 4-5 hour ride to stimulate the taste buds,
Meet up at 5.00ish Palm Springs hot pools in Parakai by 5pm for a get together. Any KB'ers with family, bring them along. This place is fully fenced and definitely family friendly.
There are 2 spa pools. One cooler pool, one deep hot pool and a kid’s paddling pool. There is an inside lounge and a huge deck area.
They are licensed till 10pm and have a full range of beer and spirits on tap.
They also have a full takeaway menu for those not wanting to barbeque.

My House in Massey will be open home on the night of the 3rd of December and the 4th of December. Anyone coming from out of town is welcome to stay here. There’s plenty of room on the floor 2 couches and 3 spare single beds.
For those of you traveling from out of town and of the camping type. There is a camp ground directly across the road from the venue.

Thanks to Joni we have a special price to get into the venue of $6.00 per person -as long as at least 30 of us turn up. That give access to all the facilities.
Kawa kid is going to bring along a good sized barby and I've booked the barbys at the venue.
Bring your own meat n stuff and the experienced chefs will cook it up for ya.

Ive booked 3 cabins at black petes for saturday the 4th The cabins come with all bedding and they are 2 minutes walk from the venue.
2 are 4 person cabins and one is a 6 person cabin.
The cost per person per night is $25
Antallica has one of them for himself and his lady.
first come first served for the beds

What kinda ride are we lookin at? I'm all for a good old ride for leisure, and slower than that 'slow' ride we had a while back .... pfft, slow my ass.

We hope to be at the party though.

I'll be there for the party, not sure if I'll make the ride. It'll depend what my bike is doing, and it won't know until closer to the date...

(possibly needing new tyres, chain, sprockets, but not exactly sure when. I'm hoping it'll last the next 3 weeks of uni at least...)
