A word of warning!!!
Please if you have a BNZ Credit Card to check your statements (or online) for any transactions you made on the 18th Jan (not sure if other dates or banks were affected)
They had a problem with their system which incorrectly debited the account twice for the same transaction, they did however credit the accounts the same day when they found out the problem
HOWEVER
If there were fees associated, the fees were not credited, they only credit them when the customers call them
When I called them, they confirmed this and I asked them "what are you doing to inform customers that are affected" they said "we will credit their accounts when they call, but we are working through it now".
Not good enough, especially after 10 days since the error was made.
You think they would learn after the last problems (all banks) had, and were charged by the commerce commission
I only picked it up after seeing the 2 debits and 1 credit for one transaction online, but then noticed 2 debits for fees, and no credits.....
