Question Any one driving past Taupo to spend a day at the Nats this weekend?

    Hey all,

Just wondering if any one is traveling past Taupo in a car/van for the day (Either Saturday or Sunday to watch the Nationals at Puke' this weekend and if so if I could catch a ride?

I told a friend that is racing that I would try be there to cheer and pit bitch... But as I sold my Hyosung and the RG isn't too good for longer rides... I'm a lil stuck.

I'd of course chip in for gas or buy the lovely person/s a box of beer

    Jas

Thanks Scrivy, but I don't have enough $$ to stay over night... That's why I'm hoping some one is going up for a day trip
    Thanks again though

The RG would be fine but.... When I ride it I'm about 2K from deadline all the time (which makes your hands numb after about an hour of the bike vibrating so much) I have to take oil up which always ends up leaking through my bag even if it's a well sealed container and normally after a longer ride on the RG something always tends to break

Really?, What about in 6th? Shouldn't be near the redline unless your doing 140ish. . U can buy cheap little 0.5L bottles of two stroke oil. (Even less but your need at least 300ml)

Do you give it kiss's and cuddles every 100km? Its vital Mainteance (even in the manual)

    Last resort i guess eh!?

    Good luck mate!

I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.

Lol... The RG's speedo says 140... But it isn't that. Probably more round the 120-130 mark.

    Kiss's n cuddles?

I was just hoping for a nice n easy day trip there n back to support Av n all the other guys n gals racing. Camping at the track would be good fun, but the thought of doing that then coming back and working again almost makes me collapse as it is I need my sleep-ins lol
