I've now got the tank and seat solidly mounted. Quite happy about that.
I made an aluminium plate for underneath the fibreglass seat unit and adapted it to the frame.

With the front end, I'm considering an idea where I'm going to widen the existing triple clamps rather than try and adapt other types into it.
The advatange of this is that I get to keep the existing stem bearings and cups as well as the forks.

I've done more to the bike yesterday afternoon and today.

Re-braced the seat unit underneath and tidied it up the rear tailpiece.

We've now procured Ivan's slicks which I had a go at putting a front one on myself but without much luck so shall get the bikeshop to do so tomorrow.

Spent today machining the original RGV front disc to become the rear disc for the TZR rear rim. Only using 4 of the six bolt holes required, as it's sufficient.
The disc is a little on the large side but should be fine.

So getting there bit, by bit.

    Further update again.

Got a sprocket from a generic Yamaha trailbike and would you believe the bolt holes lined up perfectly with the disc bolt holes on the rear rim. I was concerned I'd have to modify but not needed.
It's so pleasing when something goes together so simply.

    Thanks,
The Loncin is still on the water (not literally I hope !!), and probably not get until the end of the month or beginning of the next month.
So, may as well get as much done before we get it.

It's a real shame that you won't be up and running for the first meet. Will Team Nudsty be in attendance anyway? I could do will a good pit crew
