Nice looking bike. Shouldn't be too hard to get going, I mean, how many wires are there??
Cheers Nasty
Hey Ivan,
Thanks for the advice.
All of the electrics and plug are brand-new so theoretically it should all be okay.
But, I'm going to redo all of the earths and try a plug I know definitely works.
Also, am going to do an earth from the frame to the engine to to make doubly sure it's earthed !!
Cheers, Speedpro, there's only four wires that really matter, so you'd think I must be able to get it sorted !!

nice looking bike.. whats that seat from...? looks well GP.
Sorry Officer - I wasn't speeding, i was qualifying...
dod you see that Loncin 125 in the shanghai GP? would make a nice bucket motor...
Sorry Officer - I wasn't speeding, i was qualifying...
Yeah did notice that.
Is Loncin actually making and racing their own motor or are they using a Rotax motor like most of the other teams are?

I'm not sure aye, wouldn't mined one either way though!! How's the bucket going? any luck with starting it?
Sorry Officer - I wasn't speeding, i was qualifying...
Sorry I should have put a report here about it's first race.
Well it went really well. Motor carburetted nicely and had a good spread of power. Despite having a 30mm pumper carb on it, the top-end power drops off, so short-shifting it was the best way around the track and using the mid-range.
Handled very well, I seemed to have the rake angle and tyres sorted as had a lot of feel to the handling.
The only hassles I had was some quite severe juddering (ie warped disc) on the front brake which got better through the day and lack of peg ground clearance.
Both I will fix before the next meeting.
Oh, and rear the muffler broke off as my bracket failed.
I also have to make the bracket for the seat fairing more sturdy also.
I guess you learn all of these in a first meeting.
Anyway, I ended up getting second place in both of the points races which I was stoked about.
Lady P did well !!!
