Yep you're right. The 89 rs came out with 18" wire spoked rims. The following year they bought out the 17" alloys. So dangermouse, you do the math

As dave has already said, he has had 17" rims laced onto there. Are they 2.5" and 3.5" dave? Would help being to run old rs tyres. Nice bike btw.

Sadly no they are way skinny, that was all that was available 10 yrs ago & cheap or free. Coming from the RG with 1.6 rims the 1.85 & 2.15 seemed pretty wide. I did find some allys which are now on it but the rear is for old 105s. The spokes are now wets. Although the wets on them are shagged, but hey its buckets & this was all done on the super cheap.

If you want a front wet you can have one, just clogging up the garage. Its done 10 laps from brand new. Cept 9 of them were on a dry track. It is a bit shagged but might be ok for a bucket. I can bring it up to Manfeild if you're going to come along.

No worries. Will try remember to put it in, along with the other 15 tyres. Make sure you come and say hi. I'll be in one of the newer pit garages below the corporate boxes.

Maybe, hard to say. Its hard to plan ahead, just whoever is close when I am short for money normally gets the pick.

Is there some rule on the mainland about having your bucket photoshopped or something?
