More "Big Brother" plans by Govt

Latest news on the Herald website...

Children to be vetted for antisocial acts

    5:00AM Thursday January 24, 2008
    By Simon Collins

Children as young as 3 are to be screened for signs of antisocial behaviour which could identify whether they are likely to become future criminals.
Youngsters aged between 3 and 7 will be vetted under a new Government initiative which also proposes training courses for both parents and teachers of up to 5 per cent of the 57,000 5-year-olds who start school each year - up to 3000 children a year.

I aint even gonna comment but I will say that the Govt seems to want to put their nose into every part of our life

No 'seems' about it. But when you see who is allowed to breed, it's no wonder, eh?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Maybe Moderators wouldn't be needed on KB if a few of the people on here had been "monitored" when they were younger eh?

    POSITIVE ITEMS

    * Complies promptly with teacher instructions.

    * Responds appropriately when other children try to interact with him/her.

    * Expresses anger without becoming destructive or violent.

    NEGATIVE ITEMS

    * Disrupts the play or activities of other children.

    * Tries to get own way by throwing tantrums, e.g. sulking, shouting, swearing or refusing to co-operate.

    * Acts violently towards others, e.g. shoves, hits, pushes other children.

Based on that I would have been fucked.
My parents were not doing a bad job either, I was just a little shit.
    Mostly ok now tho, mostly!

    So the plan is:

Give anti-social people an incentive to breed by linking benefits with number of children.

Wait till each kid from these families is at school age and then intervene.

our government is fucked in the head.

And then once the heterosexuals have been weeded out, we will only have one generation of Kiwi's left! Guess it will be good for the environment!

    OK then, I stand corrected.

You just made it easier for them to get in, and also removed all right of complaint against any politician.

Too right not pissing on them though! If you need a can of petrol and a match to set one alight, let me know!!!

    Only 5%??

    More worrying is this:
A Ministry of Education spokesman said the screening test was still being developed but it was likely to be included in the new "B4 School" health checks for 4-year-olds, due to start nationally next month.
How can they be allowed to teach children to be normal people, if they're encouraging 'text speak' when the children are just four years old?
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

Well we complain about the actions of these kids when they get older and that the Govt is too soft on crimes so maybe this is not such a bad idea if they slip it into health checks...........

If it improves society then I am all for it
