Arrow AWNMR - come and have a good time practicing!!!

everyone come along to the wed night practice ride nad have some fun,
its at a carpark this week and i guarantee you always learn something. worth the effort and petrol just for the good times, generally followed by a beer at the pub.

come along, macstar came once with kim and had a ball. lol.

i wanna see all you people there as well.

meeting 645 at shell westgate, at the end of the north western motorway then turn LEFT and its the shell 500m down the road.

hope to see all and or some of you there.
    totally worth it.

it's a what hand turn? and which carpark is this?

security guards at westgate don't appreciate me using my pocket rocket at 1am and DO wait 30minutes before launching an ambush/chase with big sticks (and that thing is the WORST getaway vehicle ever), so i doubt they'd allow multiple riders without some sort of prior arrangement

i asked the guards about it later and apparently they can't let anyone muck around there, for reasons only westgate management knows

(oddly enough, the police don't seem to mind a lone person walking down the road with a full face helmet on his head and a bike under his arm)

I can vouch for this and the stuff you learn there is pretty much invaulable.

The last I was there it was with Issac and Kim, and we all had a sweet time doing salem and emergency braking.

If possible this should be made a weekly thing for some of the riders here and I too gonna look into going to a few more.

There's also this Monday Night thing held at Pamure for those who live out East like me.

Not that it's all that important but I swear it's a left turn off the end of the North Western..

I believe the term is lost your marbles... But yes, if you turned right at the end of the North/Western motorway you'd be driving a long way i.e. Albany before you found a Shell Station on the left-hand side of the road!

Anyway, work sucks - BRING BACK THE CRUISY UNI DAYS!

It is a left turn, and you folks obviously turned right as you weren't there!

Had about 8 bikes doing emergency braking & slow speed stuff. The learners had a great time & their confidence levels were boosted heaps. The rides are run every week, so don't be a waafs blouse, get there & have a good time.

I wish I could but am busy Wed nights from this week on . Maybe I'll be able to in winter, would be great for some controlled practise. I'm thinking of heading to car parks by myself when I have time to just practise a few things by myself anyway
