    Want cool bike jeans

Hi Ladies... Im new to this website and need some help. Does anyone know where I can get some really cool, sexy looking bike jeans? I already have Draggins but think they make me look like I have blankets wrapped around my legs! I am thinking maybe I can find jeans with leather patches in the right places. Does anyone agree with this idea or have any suggestions?

Keeping your SKIN on in the right places is far more important than looking "really cool & sexy"

Unfortunately the link to the pictures seems to be gone.. but here is a good thread for you to read!

Cool & sexy won't matter with the scars that girl will carry for life!

My advise.. if ya wanna be a real biker.. "get real"! rant over...

PS: go to someone like Quasi & get some (pretty girlie pink ) custom made leathers (with built in armour) made up! Leather is by far the BEST clothing to wear on your bike.

Sorry.. didn't mean to sound like such an old bag!! bad hair day.. jus gets my heckles up when I see people riding with inappropriate gear on! I believe in wearing "all ya gear.. all the time"! Our rego fees have gone up coz of the ACC levies, so every little thing we can do as motorcyclists to keep ourselves safe & accident free (touch wood) I believe we need to do! Bladdy scooter riders are the worst (IMHO).. they pay car rego fees, but are classed under "motorcycles" in an accident.. & ya see them all the blaady time getting about in t shirts, jandals & shorts/skirts! idjuts!!

I'll go take my happy pills now..

Oh, & btw.. welcome to KB chick.. tis a great place to be!!!

Hey.... your hair has its moments like all of us. Thanks for lookin out for me. Safety is always paramount to fashion...... but geezzz surely they can make safety look cool. You'd think the designer folk would see a market in cool threads for bikers, instead of them making guys gear to 'fit' women. Maybe I can make some money here!

draggins are about the only proper bike jeans. i often ride in normal jeans, and i have been hit in normal jeans. the leg shredded right through and left me with a HUGE patch of scar tissue just below the knee. on certain days, shaving with an electric shaver can almost bring me to tears due to the pain. any weight, like a hand resting on it, can put me through the roof.
its not just about keeping ya skin on... its what will be left in its place. id give anything to get rid of the scar tissue.

another way is too get a heavy oz demin pair and take them to an upholster and have leather patches sewen onto the jean's, leather pieces aren't dear. just labour cost by upholster..

I've found there is a real lack in bike jeans over here... Over in Aus there are quite a few different companies... One in particular who made really nice looking (bike safe) jeans I can't remember the name of them though sorry I'll be over there shortly and will update you all with what there is if you like

Hey thanks for the tip on sewing leather on top of jeans, never thought of an upholsterer. But maybe I can talk my guy into a trip to Aussie.... Plus I hear they have cold beer over there.
