Ride Right Ride Safe course *** POSTPONED ***

Hi guys *** Due to a lot of others who wanted to attend this course having prior committments this event has been postponed til after winter .. ***

this has been talked bout & now it looks like we are now underway to hold a course in Palmy

    Venue: Massey University
    Date Sat 5th April

Cost depending on how many ppl we can get to participate min 12- max 24
It would be $50.00 Per person + $300.00 for travel, so for example, if there were 20 people it would work out to $65.00 each. If there were 12 people it would work out to $75.00 each. (so if we get a full class it becomes cheaper for everyone)

I will organise another bank account next week & to hold your place would require a deposit with full payment due two weeks prior to the 5th april.

I did this course last yr & there was a good selection of riders from me the total newbie to ppl who had been riding for yrs, & its a course I would endorse, does not matter wot kind of bike you ride & if you have a pillion rider bring them along & do the course with them on board as well ..

the day is broken up into classroom sesssions & ride time, covering emergency braking, counter steering, cornering, riding over kerbs, and other stuff that I am sure one of the instructors will be in to correct me about

so discussion time ... ask away ....

    Bank account details
    S M Barclay
    Westpac Levin
    03 0667 0287038 00
please PM me once you have paid with your reference details so I can keep a track of names please ..

    Calendar link is here

I should be fine for that sort of money. The bank only put the stick in so far while I was bent over, so there is a little room for movement

I just realised I go for restricted a couple of weeks before that. woohoo

I need to get out for more practice I think - time is running short

for this course it really does not matter your level of expertise .. from complete newbie to experienced rider of 20+ yrs you will get alot out of it ..

Cheers for the heads up - I'd be very keen. I've put it in my diary and barring something cropping up at the last minute I'll be there.

Go to a "T" intersection on a quiet road start out with a wide radius, then as you get better co-ordinated make each turn smaller, realise this is when doing circles not "U" turns, then once ya have it sussed try it on the road without using the "T" in road, then just do half a turn"U",no feet easy, sounds like it's described as a major operation but just my long winded explanation.
