    145kph on a scooter

Today I was taking a long way home on my Burgman
400cc scooter. Three sports bikes came flying up behind me. Something got into me that made me wind open the throttle. I was soon hertling along at 145kph. The bikes went past even faster, I saw one look at the scooter he gave me a thumbs up sign. Perhaps if I had a 650 Burgman I could have run away from them.

I promise to behave in the future.

    Good effort!

One day I want to get a cheap burgman and make myself a real Feet Forward monster.
Determined to kill my bike before it kills me

But not a lot more. I managed to squeeze 180 out of the one I had the other day. But it really was a squeeze. Enough to worry a Harley maybe, but not really a real bike.
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

If you had one of these then I am sure that you could have made a hell of a stand... Even given them a hell of a shock!

Good on ya DougB, "out there doin it". Anyone who worries about performance over 180 is a tosser.

    Bloody hell

You are a naughty one, but fair play for giving them a run for thier money!!
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
    Wish you were here. QWQ

either that, or a more competent rider than you.
