On the last day at PI it is interesting that:
Casey Stoner did 51 laps and his best time was 1:28.777
Marco Melandri did 108 laps and his best time was 1:31.377. More that 2.5 secs slower than the Aussie?![]()

Yeah the Qatar GP is first up at Losail under floodlights, imagine trying to get your braking marks/bearings from anything off track!
Mind you it's in the desert so no landmarks anyway!

One of the Brit bike mags speculated that the reason the GP was to be run at night wasn't really because of the day time heat. It was so that we wouldn't notice that the car parks were empty and there was nobody in the stands.
I think it was last year there was a shot of a spectators' bike park the size of several football fields with about three bikes parked in it...
