    All these "Rants"

I just thought I would say, that theres a heap of threads
headed up "rants" I was wondering if there is a connection
between this hot weather and coming up to the silly season.

    Its just an observation.
    Has anyone else noticed that?

I will take the opportunity while i'm here to ask......
How much do you reakon I would get for a 2001 R6 approx 16,000

10K Ok deal, bit on the pricey side (you might get lucky but it'll most probably sit around for a while).
9K Good deal if the bike is in good order.
8K really good deal. (you should be able to sell it rather quickly).

My mate bought a bloody beautiful 2002 R1 with only 10,000 kms on it from the dealer for 14K.

I was gunna buy a 02' R6 last year from Haldanes for 12.5K with 7,000kms on the clock.

It is really hard to sell bikes privately these days unless you are going by what I wrote in the previous post.

Completly my opinion though and I could be horribly wrong.

Can I put my rant in here, just to save a whole rant thread y'know.

Just got a call from one of my daughters - coming out to her car after her firms Xmas do in ponsomby, she finds some bastard has backed into it,pushing it up the curb and doing a bit of damage...prick...hey,she's just got home,I'm off for a look.

Ok,just got back after a look see and a drive around the block - not too bad considering her car was pushed sideways on the road, just the gaurd dinged really, still steers straight, but she reckons she can hear a noise.Lucky it's not her good car...I've still got the Laurel at work waiting to get the damage from where a bus hit it repaired, plus a couple of other things - this car is the old 84 Telstar Giha, another ding is hard to spot.

Anyway,so some ignorant prick backs into her car enough to actualy move it across on the road, and just drives off,no problems, who cares eh.

    AArghh!

Vicki is a rep/merchandiser and spends all day in supermarket car parks. We will never buy a flash car while she has that job as the number of pricks that knowingly back, slide or crash into others cars and then just piss off quick is astonishing!

Vicki has collared a few but they don't like it.

    Scummy thing to do!

I don't rant. I'm merely an irascible curmudgeon with a gargre full of excitable hobbyhorses that require regular exercise.

I do rant. Because I'm a grumpy (nearly)old phart. Need to practise before I enter my dotage (whatever the hell that is. I think it's like porrige, only lumpier...)
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
