    You can buy them at your local model shop if you have the dosh. These days they are electric start and computer controlled.
    They drink fuel like it's going out of fashion though because even with a mainshaft speed of around 150,000 rpm, the compression ratio is only about 2.5 to 1. Make great garage heaters but - put out over 100 kW of heat

    The last I heard of the guy in the video clip, he was working on a way to land that rig on a runway like a conventional aircraft.

    I'm interested in the wing unfold/fold. Did you notice in all of the clips, that bit isn't shown. I don't know what that means ... but I really wanted to see that part
