Was a fantastic ride. Shame we had to go see Lis's family for the afternoon really... Enjoyed the twisties the most and finally got comfortable with this whole Road riding thing. Was missing the lack of jumps until I hit that pointy little rise/bridge and cleared it and the second rise behind it! Couldn't stop grinning and laughing after that!

86 flew by me on the R6 so I could admire my next bike from behind... thanks for that

I want to volunteer for being corner marker/guide on the next ride. Was so much fun trying to catch back up to everyone. Except when I finally caught Lis and a CBR1000 (I think) and they both promptly blew me into the weeds while I was gloating passing them both as did Pauly and his loaner GSXR! Lessons learnt.

Was a bit unnerving sitting for 10mins after 10 bikes went through, waiting for the rest and nothing showed. Sat in the rain with the Hyosung rider discussing possible causes ranging from a lost group, a short cut, to a major accident. We were both pretty glad to find every one at Waipuk still on two wheels.

The Rangi fix of wrapping wire around the muffler to the rear footpeg on Lis's ZXR held fine all the way home thank god! Seriously expected the whole can to fly off when we reached Dannevirke the first time and the mounts sheared off as she pulled into the gas station!

The paint was mixed up tonight for the new Green TYGA Babyblade look (should appeal atleast alittle to Cowboyz... maybe), so I'll be stoneguarding EVERYTHING and riding like a nana for a while now. The Green shot bike as the kids call the ZXR is off to see the welders at Roadrunner for repairs and we are both adding some decent toolkits to our bikes so we don't have to bludge on the roadside again.

The video camera on the fairing works a treat and even caught the bridge jump.

Thanks Chanceyy for the ride. Great day off!

Since nobody else has said, may I try ... but I'll be wrong on a bunch of things, this was the general run of the day.

Woodville (left just out of town into some very nice country roads), Danniverke, Waipuk via more back blocks, Patangata for lunch, Elsthorp[e, Kairakau Beach, Kahuranaki Rd to Havelock, Middle Rd to Patangata again, Waipawa, Ongaonga, SH50, to Dannivereke and for us back down the 'rapa to meet TCWNR crowd in Featherston, home at 10 and 700kms
