Looks pretty straight forward. Three legged puller through the rivet holes, or a two (or three ) leg gear puller. I've got pullers that should get it off.

God Garath has done a number on that.

Just a warning from a previois owner. When it was converted from points to CDI I sheared a brand new keyway on that flywheel, and ended my days racing. When it was put back on I suspect (cause I wasnt there at the time) some very high strengh lock tight was used to "fix" the problem and this is why Garath butchered it so bad trying to get it off.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Bugger might need to warm the flange with some gas as well then.

That's what I did, and it just bent it. It's well and truly stuck on there.

    Try the heat option Squiggles.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

What size is the internal thread. I got an RZ puller, which from memory is 27 x 1 left hand. Might be 1.5 . That internal thread looks a lot bigger than that.

Well said Skunk, Spend the cash and buy the right puller , they fit older suzukis and yamahas, the RD and RZ engines have a longer stud out from the crank(looks like RX is the same) and the shorter puller of the 2 wont fit (not deep enuf) i have got the short type, that does most of my bikes and made a long shaft one when i had a machine shop to play with, to bloody ages(crap lathe skills lol) if i knew they were $30 i would have just bought one,
A 3 legged puller just wreck things

    what broke your flywheel?
