"I was following behind a guy whose jacket came open"

Heh Heh , happened to me once, zip gave up the ghost.
Kept visor down at fuel stops to avoid the embarrasement of the wrap around grey duck tape.

Triumph's worst bits to come off have been a muffler requiring ear plugs to get home, and a chaincase inspection plug coming off. Result is a boot covered in oil spraying out from the hole.

Haven't lost any luggage, had a kind motorcyclist following who waved me down one day as my tent was sliding off the seat toward the spokes, that could have been nasty.
    Bungy them on good people.
"I want to thank you lord, so far this day. With your help i haven't been impatient, lost my temper, been grumpy, judgemental, or envious of anyone. But i will be going out in a minute and i think i will really need your help to start my bike. Amen."

Today, I was riding back to Donor's demesne and I had a backpack with a plastic bag filled with beans from the graden (trying for a first here!) and shortbread.

Suffice to say the plastic bag leaked three beans and Donor squished them before pulling me over and securing said bag!

So I lost my hat out of my backpack on the way to the Vincent Rally. Gijoe1313 sent me a new one from Haldane's today.

    Big thanks to him!

I lost an O'neil topbox full of clothes on trip back between Coopers Beach and Whangarei, Wednesday after Anniversary weekend tour. Mounting bracket is made of very light pressed sheet steel. This bent and the front lugs dislocated.
Thought the bike was going a bit better. Had some good gear in there - Gore-tex jacket etc.
