    my 4 wheels~~??

i got a 91 corona (my g/fs) auto - but i wouldnt have it any other way in the city.
I give it shit and dont do nothing to it - its got 180,000ks on the clock, hasnt had an oil change for about 30,000. But still starts everytime, and runs well. These motors are bullet proof - an the car has got enough torque to take of when i need to.
Used to have a mint 83' Sapporo - but i missed bike so much i swapped it for 1.
I miss having a grunty RWD manual with a LSD though - it was a good detox car to use when i wasnt suppose to ride a bike for 6moths while my leg healed.
too bloody rare for me though - was scared to drive it anywhere, only 9 came to NZ in 85', and of those only 3 on the road now. Worth alot of coin nowdays

    Is this normal?
Yup, fraid so. Mrs What? drives a V6 Camry Amon, I drive a B2600 ute. Coz it's practical - I can't tow a boat, let alone a tonne-and-a-half of gravel with a bike. Unless I get a Tomahawk, maybe...

    Sweet.

I keep telling myself the one on Trademe isn't a good deal, since it may be cheap, but it's got 200,000km on the clock.

Why do I have a Rolla? Economic and it was a cheap buy and now I have to wait 2 years before I get rid of the damn thing.

I'd rather talk about what I'd want to get... A Ferrari Spider Not so economical and for me, impossible to buy (at mo). Not to mention, terrible to run the kids round to school and go supermarket shopping .... but what a way to travel

I own a 1991 Mitsubishi Galant Supersalon, that has done 211000kms... its been through a few clutches, a gear box, and multiple tyres..... it desperately needs a valve grind and new rings, but i spend all my $$$ on bikes not cars

As for the cop cars, there are no SS commies, only the S model.... there are a few S-Supercharged ones around though.... there are also some BA Falcons hanging around for pursuit duty......

The new cars arent modded, they are stock standard S model lease cars (hence why they have 16 and 17inch mag wheels etc).... Performance is ok, but to get over 220 you need a REALLY long piece of road, and a slight tail wind

The old AU falcons were chipped and had the XR-6 sports suspension, but they had a problem of dropping the diff at high speed (210kmh+)

The VT commies have some suspension tweaking....

All of them have uprated brake pads......
See Robert Taylor for any Ohlins requirements www.northwest.co.nz
    Thanks Colemans Suzuki
    Thanks AMCC
I use DID Chains and Akrapovic Exhausts

Could be worse. It could be those poxy little Rovers the British cops had in the 90s.

Sorry MikeL, not for sale. Unless I manage to get another cheap old ute that has a double cab (I never really wanted one of these because the deck space decreases - some utes might as well just have a boot), because the missus suggested it might be a good travelling, picnic, holiday, beach option.

My daily hack? - a '62 Anglia with performance mods (blue-dot tail-lights, Valiant light switch, racing steering wheel and Cordia drivers seat!)

Why? 'cos it's old style, cheaper rego and only needs a bed-spanner and a phillips screw driver to fix - and uses $10 a fortnight for petrol.

Strictly speaking, I don't have a car. Well, my name's on the rego papers but its really Gini's.

It's a 1997 Nissan Sentra Hatchback. 1500cc. Fits Her, Me, and three kids. Don't know what we are doing in March when Nicholas is born...

We used to have a 1995 Legacy GT-B but I wore out the gearbox and instead of fixing it ($4000 - ouch!) we swapped it for the Nissan. The Legacy had 140,000 on the clock and the Nissan had 49,000 independently certified km's.

As Gini's fond of telling me, the car uses less gas than my bike does...

but the bike does it better.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

well actually they do drive the likes of the Sub's A few years back a group of us on bikes was pulled over by a copper at Cromwell, we had just pulled into the servo and he in a Subru parked up across the for court stopping us from getting out..... Mr copper got out, we shat our selves cos we wernt going slow through the gourge from Queenstown.... but all the guy wanted was a chat and to check out the bikes as I was on the 11i Guzzi and ther were other od balls like a BB1 Bimota. The cop had been following us and knew what we were doing but just said take it easy as theres a couple of my mates up the rd.
Well how frigen nice was that huh? they like that down that way

sweet... I asume that you are talking about the Mk1? I have had heaps of Trimphs Heralds (not good at 100mph) Vitesse, Stag & the 2000Mk2 the last one was a MK2 2.5 with TR6 running gear, flow's and twin pipes... best soud an engine can make other that a V2 (pic b4 the rear was lowered and the triple webers kicked 5.0L Holdens big time) shit I could kill for a TR5 though.
