beats me. I told him to steer left up the bank well before the sludge, but he panicked and steered down (if anything), then tried to steer up, but too late Was funny tho, the whole village came out to watch him too. They must have some sort of online forum just waiting for things like this, or text service or something like that.. They just all turned up to watch, point and generally laugh. Me included.

contrary to all thoughts, mx5's arent hairdressers cars - i test drove one with a completely balanced/forged motor, and a massive dose of injectors........was told its was good for atleast 150kw at the wheels......didnt beleive it untill i out raced a modded 300zx on route pkj.....without changing down. lovely handling too. The car was setup like a sleeper (in black ), and was taken off a street racer in japan by the cops - and sold to cover his expenses. Let the old man take it for a drive, and he thought it was just as quick as the 1200 daytona he rode 10 mins earlier.

Having made it to 34 without needing a car licence, I figure I did well (bike licence at 18, couldn't have afforded it earlier.)

Granddad used to load the whole family onto bike and sidecar - wife and around 3-4 kids but i don't have a bike that'll take a sidecar.

At the moment the car is an '85 Nissan Sunny which runs OK and was cheap to buy. Few cars enthuse me enough to care what we have - so long as it isn't a total PoS. It has two too many wheels but it carries the kids until they're old enough to ride pillion and strayjuliet gets her bike licence...

It has a nice, basic looking engine and no power steering etc -and in that, it is far superior to the Proton "Saga" we used to have (and a right royal fucking saga it proved to be - the final chapter has not yet been written).

A 7- or 8-seater would be better for when Jarrod (Juliet's other son) comes to stay or for long journeys when we need to carry a lot of luggage.

Main car: Legacy GT twin turbo wagon. Tried the GTB, but it would've rattled my kids teeth out. Having bounced on the front and noticed that it barely moved, I can see why. Incidentally, I tried the same trick with another one and it was softer like my GT- I reckon it was a plain GT with a Bilitztien badge stuck on. When I see families driving around in GTB's, I wonder wether they are the real McCoy or not. They are bloody firm!
    Work bomb: Nissan Bluebird wagon.

Subaru Legacy B4 RSK, when I bought it (2 years ago) I wanted something 4 door, fair bit of power and 4WD.

I sold my Nissan Silvia for my 636..
