    lol.....

See the thing with that is, I have mechanical skills.... Never been to a mechanics in my life!.... used to work in a bike shop in the 90's and have rebuilt lotsa engines... have run a coupla fast cars...(one pulled 11's)... Done it all myself, with the help of friends and books... only thing $$$ is parts
Thats why I wasnt scared to buy a Duc!

speaking of parts $$$$ SC, your bike is prolly a lot more expensive to fix than mine....

I was, and that's why they're now for sale. Actually, one of them I was given as a freebie so there will be no cost for that one, the other was tailor made to fit. I was 5'11" and about 100kg at the time, but feel free to come up and have a look anyway. You won't get a hard sell from me.

Yes, it's a table and 4 chairs. Old style table that expands and has a dark formica covering. Can take a digi pic for you if you're interested?

    Cheers

Okay, the Ducati books left after Lynda raided the cabinet are:

    1. Ducati 4 Valve V-Twins (Hardcover), Mick Walker, ISBN 1-86126-244-2
    2. Ducati 2 Valve V-Twins (Hardcover), Mick Walker, ISBN 1-86126-309-0
    3. Ducati Supersport (Hardcover), Ian Falloon, ISBN 1 85960-412-9
    4. Ducati (Softcover), Thompson and Bonnello, ISBN 0-7603-0389-4

Check them out on the web if you want to know what they're all about and to get an idea of cost.

    Cheers

To be honest Blakamin, most of what's in my FZR workshop manual is still pretty valid for the R1 now.

And I'm pretty sure Stonechucker's R1 is like my bike - 5 valves per cylinder.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    Yeeeehhhaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrr!!

Many many thanks for this heads-up Mark. I am now the proud owner of four "as new condition" Ducati books (sorry Blakamin, but I did leave you some....) plus another Ducati accessory.

Blakamin.....a girl can NEVER have too much Ducati stuff (though that's not what Hamish mumbles.....)

Thanks again Mark. Good luck with the gargre sale.
