    Hey Man,
    I believe that your first road bike your RG250 was bought down here...and it's not such a bad place to live!
    There are some good bastards that live down here, the weather isn't as bad a some make it out, and the moo poo's isn't so bad these days.

    It's not too bad living here, but the population is growing at an alarming rate.
    Hokitika is ok too but really offers nothing unless your a tourist.
    The roads are fantastic, plenty of bush roads for the dirtbikes, hunting/ fishing and lakes for watersports. The rain stories are mostly bullshit but we do get a healthy dose of rain in spring normally.

    Whats the rental accomodation like in Greymouth, using the 'net didn't look like there was too much to choose from?

    There is a bit around, normally advertised in the evening paper or the Real Estate agents have a few, average is around $200 pw.

    the coast is a great place to live if your into bikes gav, everywhere you go is nice and twisty
