Can you describne more what is happening? What happens the rest of the time?

Also did you buy the bike with this problem or has it just started to happen?

Does it have after market air filter on it such as a pod/k&N filter?

What colour/condition are the spark plug electrodes?

Did you ask the seller about this problem? If not then do it now and see what they say. You never know they may have rejetted the carb or tuned it and got it wrong.

In the meantime try this, when you rev the bike and then close the throttle quickly, does it back fire? If this is the case then you may have an air leak. Which means that too much air is being sucked into the system. Check all the manifolds and joins on the exhaust pipe, and check around the carb and air filter as well.

They do take a bit of warming up, and will "fart and pop" till warm. I run mine for a few minutes before riding off, but after that all is sweet.
