As long as it doesn't have overly complicated flat-fifth riffing, double-kick drum triplets and vocalists who roar instead of singing I'll enjoy it.

Unless its Slayer covers, of course. They were kind of cool.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I will try to describe Bodom to the best of my abilities:

incredibly melodic heavy/death metal, they don't employ dissonance, 2 guitars plus keyboard (many great keyboard solos) and bass, the lead guitarist is the singer, his lead guitar is predominantly neoclassical shred, which he does very skillfully and tastefully, not OTT at all.

the guitars are frequently harmonised, very beautiful, they know how to arrange a song all right.

the singing? generally death metal *rawr rawr rawr* stuff, but done pretty well and tastefully. the vocals are definitely not the star attraction, rather the excellent music as a whole.

so, it would be worthwhile to try and get a hold of Every Time I Die, and Kissing the Shadows. it might just suprise you.

Sounds pretty good, apart from the obvious vocals, but I may be prepared to let that go.

I'll have a hunt. Damn dialup.

Disturbed - now there's a guy that I reckon can really sing.

And such amazing diction too - you can understand every word.

Got The Sickness and Believe - great albums.

Guns and Roses are now Velvet Revolver, as discussed earlier.

As for Pink Floyd, a few good albums, a few shocking ones, and anyway, who knows which Pink Floyd is the real one anyway now?

But Dave Gilmour is a damn fine guitarist.
