    MAC Exhaust systems

Anyone know anything about MAC systems?

It's looking pretty much like I'll have to source a new system for the GPZ and have found a couple of offshore sites selling these systems that visually look quite bloody nice but looks can be deceiving

A lot of guys in the US use MAC's on their yamaha triples.
They increase power noticeably over stock and are a bit louder on the triples. The chrome ones do tend to disclour as the chrome is a little thin but you could use black ones.
They still seem popular and to be good value for money.

    Cheers

I've been digging around on some US sites looking at comments etc & exhaust sites but hadn't found much reference to actual specs just individual comments.

Ha I don't mind corning or bluing on headers at all (Old school coming out in me )
I can get a full chrome set landed here for about $500

Yammy triples I see on your bike list Had one of each in years gone by 750 & 850 great old girls, and the 850 still sneaks around ChCh somewhere, wouldn't mind digging it out one day

Yeh , I love the old triples, got three as you can see.
Much underated bike, not perfect but usual problems are easily fixed, a good reliable UJM that sounds a sweeter than any 4 of the era .... but then I'm biased.

Im turning one into a post classic racer ( probably foolishy) that I hope to run at Ruapuna soon.

    Cheers
