    Pilot Screws

Got my engine back (had the valves ground and cylinders cleaned up), put everything back together got it running. Then it died and wouldnt run properly again. Got the carb out and found the pilot jets in the float bowl. Is there any way to keep the pilot jets from unscrewing themselves? i was going to use some plumbers tape.

They shouldn't just fall out dude. All you should need to do is tighten them finger tight then another 1/8-1/4 turn
if they fall out there is a problem
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
