Aaaaaah 1996, the year Honda got it all so right and no-one else was within cooee.
Amazing corner speed considering it's 12 year old tire technology ....even more amazing that some of those blokes are still going.
Great footage but a shame we had to listen the 1980's style music rather than the quad-spannies.

Gilles Villeneuve and Rene Arnoux battle in this classic duel FOR SECOND PLACE at the 1979 French Grand Prix. Racing like this does not exist any more.

Thanks mate, best F1 racing I think I've ever seen, just a pity we couldn't hear them.

God that guy can pass!! Pure class.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
    Wish you were here. QWQ

Damn straight brother, I used to live round the corner from Mick, a friend knew him quite well & said he was a bloody top bloke
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
