Blah Fitting a temp gauge to SV650S

Just a little project I'm thinking about

How would I go about doing this? Just a digital temperature monitor with probes coming off it and jam it into some crevice in the engine / radiator? Or would there be a better way to go about it?

    Bike is a 1999 SV650S.

Only problem is the Dick Smith one you link to woudn't work as its max is 70 degrees c. You need something that reads out to at least 110 c.

The SV does have a temp warning light wired to the radiator and this is where you could fit a temp probe.

The later SVs have a digital readout built into the instruments. Good for making sure your bikes up to temp before riding it hard.
