Anyone heading down for this, myself, Ali G & a couple of other regulars from Meremere will be

Rock up & say gidday if your in the area... (Silver ZX 12-R & Black Hayabusa)

Where: Taupo International Dragway

When: Sunday 24th Febuary 2008

Featuring 10 of Aussies best vs 13 of NZ's best (nothing like an unfair advantage to keep things on an even keel !!!)

Alcohol Funnies

& of course, plenty of other bikes

Round 2 is at Meremere March 1st & 2nd 2008

Just saw this on the taupo race track site... surprised it hadnt got more publicity to be honest.

Best of luck for the day, unfortunately i doubt i'll be able to make it down to watch.

yep heading on down on the friday night for the suzuki track day on the saturday then the drags sunday should be a great weekend,anyone can enter the drags it's not just for big dragbikes

We'll see you down there Michael, Ali & I are heading down Saturday arvo, my mate Frankie is riding his old Slab Sider at the Suzuki Track so we may call in & say gidday on route to our digs for the night...

Trans Tasman Dragbike Challenge - THIS SUNDAY 24th February

Gate entry - $20
Parking - free
Gates open 7am Qualifing - 9am
Camping permitted Saturday Night only
We will be having pre entry on Saturday from 5pm - 6.30 pm

Cost of Racing-
Group One - $100
All other Competition cars - $80
All Competition bikes - $80
All Super Street cars - $60
Street bikes - $60

A mate of mine Ian Wilkins will be competing down there at Taupo, unfortunately I will have to wait to the meet in Meremere to see you fellas in action.
