Now that is what I call sensible sentencing!

It would be nice to see some sensible sentencing of this nature handed down for some of the teenage thug behaviour becoming more prevalent in NZ of late.

Cut their balls off. I literally mean it. No more agression (well a lot less anyway) and it's fearsome deterrant for a lot of other males (men or boys...)

17 years of hard labour would be better than sitting in a cell.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Bloody good idea... We all know that the children of crims are likely to be crims as well. Stop them from breeding and they'll be a dying breed!

And as was said - labour camps instead of cosy cells with phones, internet and boy love in the showers would be an improvement.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Emotion would say that's a great idea, and on the surface it sounds it. But what's to say that people who have this 'treatment' wouldn't go on to exact revenge against society with no regard for anything?

It emerged, after the trio were found guilty on 16 January, that Swellings had been released from custody for an assault just hours before the attack on 10 August.

He was freed on bail on condition he stayed away from Warrington but he remained in the town despite the court order
But still, they let one of them out on bail the day before for a similar violent attack... Serious crimes against other people should NOT be entitled to bail IMO.

Actually - apparently no it doesn't.

In a fairly recent discussion with a leading forensic phychologist suggests that in fact the side effect of this is MORE aggression, as the original feelings of inadequacies are exacerbated by the lack of sexual outlets. He also talked about the untold and sometimes unexpected side effects of chemical castration and why he doesn't support it

Should do some reseach in that area actually ..... wanders off to look it up ...

Fair call but the level of agression (and predisposition to violence/revenge) is greatly reduced if I understand correctly.

And hell - even if they are still a threat, there's always a lobotomy...

I thought that was a side effect of the chemical castration... but actually removing (i.e. totally chopping off and throwing away) testicles reducing the level of testosterone and therefore associated behaviours (aggression etc etc etc).

Let me know what you find!

Good point. Hang the fuckers - you can re-use the rope.

Truth be told - it's not like we actually are lacking people on the planet.

Has it changed over the last few decades?

Or is it just selective reporting and/or memory?

If it has changed, why, what's the difference between then and now?

    Seroius question.
