    Thumbs up Bargain

Well as luck would have it I rang around looking for a good price on these Conti Road Attacks that Pumba seems so keen on.

Bargain: bought the last set that Kerry at Motohaus had there on special $500 fitted (I'd been quoted $550-$620 elsewhere), paid for them there and then on the phone with my credit card.

I'll drop the bike off tomorrow and he's going to do the head bearings at the same time, pick it up next Saturday. Really looking forward to feeling the difference.

Then it off in search of the twisted tarmac bliss that you speak of.

.... back in green and feeling great ....

Now just because you have the same tyres as I was using dont think you are going to be keeping up aye

I am sure you will enjoy them, the roads attacks were awsome, untill I put a sport attack on the front that was somthing else

    Damm I need a bike

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Hmm... Will need to see if I have enough $$ but would be keen to come down even if it's just to pop in to say hi if I can't afford to stay

What sort of riding will it be? I'm still taking it very easy on the 600 and not quite use to the bigger bike yet... Would I be ok on the rides?
Also... Are you going on gravel? Gravel is not my friend

We wont be going down long stretches of gravel roads (as long as Qkkid isnt leading) however there 'was' discussion about doing the Forgotten Highway (but it is not set in concrete as of yet). Routes will be discussed when we are down there and we will try to make it suitable for everyone.

Dont be too worried about the weekend, Chanceyy was a rookie last year and proved to be very competent! She was on my tail during part of the ride - Maybe I was holding her up? This weekend is all about meeting new people and enjoying what we all have in common - Motorcycling! Its not a race or a show-off parade, just a group ride. We have a system of making sure people dont get left behind or lost. We do the occasional re-group, just to make sure. As long as you can ride @ 100kph on the open road you will fine.

Shane, hopefully I have a bike and it is my intention to go down on Saturday (I cant really afford any time off work at the moment), my other option if I end up borrowing a bike is I will drive to Morrinsville Friday night, pick up a bike, and then on Saturday meet up somewhere with any of the guys from up north that are heading down.

I am all little up in the air at the moment but hopefully it will be one of those two options.

Sweet, I'm in much the same boat, wouldn't be a good time to take the extra day off. drop me a line svaughan@gencom.com and we can organise to meet up on the Saturday.

As Qkkid said, we wont be back until 12pm on the Friday. We have the cabin booked for the Fri night, so will try to get down that afternoon. By the time we get home and jump on the bikes we will be leaving Albany around 2pm. What time were you heading down Tide?
