Your Positive thoughts will do the trick.. have you come to a short list of potential mounts for the trip? Is it another SV maybe? 007XX and I have just come back from 1150km trip to MSTRS and YUNGATART's party, and my SV has just clicked the 20k mark.. going strong and just awesome on the Napier - Taupo road..
Love the sound of the V twin through those gorges..![]()

Yea have a short list and to honest the SV is pretty high up on it at the moment, I was just so hapy with that bike, hopefully the weather holds and I can get out and do some testing this weekend.
I also have a back up plan in the form of a MT01 or CB1300 that are sitting in a shed in the Waikato that I am pretty sure are not being used that weekend![]()
mmmmn ok ... better be getting round to that, hadn't I.
Biggest question at the moment though is: do I buy new treads before or after the ride????
Can't quite decide if they'd hang in there for another 1500kms or so???? Might need to drop by your joint for a 2nd and 3rd opinion I think.
.... back in green and feeling great ....
