    Looking for good tyre deals...

I need a new pair of tyres for my old '91 GSX-R750M (oil Boiler)
Not a really soft, hard core, semi-slick, supersport kinda track tyre but one aimed at some track use and still able to handle a wet road - I don't do huge mileage & the old girl has lost a few of her orginal 118 HP but I do like to give her some action now & then so sticky is good.
120/70/17 front & 170/55/17 rear (although it has a 180 on it at the mo)

Price is a factor here so I'm really looking for a good deal rather than the latest, greatest rubber. I haven't had really [i]great[/] tyres before so anything good is gonna feel really good

Look forward to some great ideas.

PM DMTD as he's able to get some pretty good prices on PP 1's which should do the job nicely

Sweet. I heard from more than one source that they don't like the high temps you get on the track. Actuall, I got the feeling the pilot sports didn't like hot days either.

I'm hoping they'll be allright with my old oil boiler and the cooler weather we're starting to get...the front is actually a Pilot race 2ct. Pilot Power on rear - a popular mix for some, apparently.
