I'll sort through mine tomorrow and post up the best ones if any. Think I've already been out done though.

I found road racing photography a bit of a challenge after MX. Lots of "yellow coats" enforcing no-go areas, so it was hard to get a clear view of the action with a decent backgroud and the long breaks between races kept messing up the camera settings....... Bloody good fun though.....

    Anyway... here's my selection......

1/ Damian Cudlin. YZF1000. Exiting Westpac

2/ Hayden Fitzgerald. Fireblade 1000. Clipping the apex, Westpac

    3/ Sidecar Pilates

4/ Those Motards sure have a low fear threshold...!!

Chair #19 didn't move off the line when the flag dropped.
The driver of the chair that went over (was it #11 ??) went right to try and avoid but hit the rear and caused his machine to spin hard left. Too much momentum, crossed up, left side of his chair went skywards.

wish i had a camera with me out on the hairpin, what a day 7 bikes went down.....
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.

Strange things you see at a Race meet.

Best quality I could muster sorry

Formula 3 Race #11 got too close to a bale and then proceeded to throw it all over the track, perhaps to wipe out the opposition!!

Which one? The 'Yamaha Passed' sticker or the one on the tank back to front?
