    For Sale Scorpio Z SX-4 225cc

    Hello,

Anyone interested in my Yamaha Scorpio Z SX-4 225cc bike, makes a great learner / commuter bike, before I put on trademe. Only 5 months old, around 600km on the clock. Mint condition (although could do with a new clutch lever).

Anyone got any idea what i'll get for it. A garage said around 2k, but I recon i should get 3k+ or so on trademe.... New ones are around 4000 on the road. Is that realistic?

    Jon.

I think...$3-$3500 would be OK on Trademe

    IMO

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Towards the bottom end of that range, I think. I wouldn't be interested in paying $3500 for a machine someone else has "run in" when I can get a new one for $3800. (And yes, I do knows about ORC.)

It's the age old problem. Itys not what you think its worth that really matters. It's what someone is prepared to shell out actual CASH for it that counts.
Me i'd say between 2 and 3 is realistic
AND it so happens Jorja would pay $2k tomorrow

Mate, its worth holding out for more than 2 grand cash.
With the current demand for good 250 roadbikes there is a high likleyhood that you would get a real decent price for it.
Above are 2 people interested for 2 grand straight away, hold out for more.

yeah the new ones are about $3800... if you've run it in then it would be worth less than that.
