I just want to say not only did I make it back in one piece but I had a hell of a time.

The race track at Ruapuna is just awesome and good for spectators (unless of course the rain is horizontal on the hill!!!!!!). It was an honour to watch Stroud and Harris in action in such conditions. Also the guys racing SV650s was of extra interest to me - now how do I make mine go that quick? I am sure Frosty will have an idea.

Great to catch up with ManuBoy, Dangerous, Kickaha and re-meet CSL, Lynda and Hamish. A huge thank you to SuziQ and (god forgive me) Steve? for picking me up and transporting me to town and eventually finding a way into the drinking establisment. Funny down there they dont want you to actually go in the bars

I have driven 1300 kms in 4 days and seen a lot of the lower SI and I am jealous of you guys that live down there and the awesome roads and scenery. Although when I awoke to fresh snow on Monday I was kinda glad to be a poof and have a cage to cruise in. I did follow one brave fellow on an Aprilla through the Catlins and the gravel and lack of tarseal he made look like a Sunday doddle. Next time I am bringing the bike FOR SURE!

I am feeling a tad exhausted but am hoping the weather is good tomorrow cos my poor bike is probably feeling a bit neglected...time for a blat MD style

Great to catch up with you again too MD Even if the conditions weren't optimum.

It was great to also meet a few of the ChCh KBers - if any of you lads are around at Christmas let me know. I'll be down from the 24th until the 28th, doing family Christmas and I guess you all are too.

Wahoo you can count on me giving that a go Kick! After watching ijuts bungy jumping at our prime tourist spots...I could think of one thing that would be a better buzz. Those swingers must be half (or maybe fully) mad especially in the wet. Or is that skill

Damn shame I didnt give Scumdog a call. But was keeping my eye open for bikes of any sort. Was not the bestest of weather mind you

My flatmate got a ticket in the driveway, although he had to ride around the block without a helmet to get the cop to follow him home and give him that one

it's easier in the wet,the speed is slower and you dont have to move as much.
