USA Honda S/B Versus Suzuki S/B

A few comments from a top rider over in the USA on the new Honda 1000

Hi mate, I cannot believe you are going to hang your leathers up. I thought you were going to race forever. Also, it puts me undermore pressure to start retiring since I am 34. I hope your health is in good condition. I was just thinking about you the other day. I am living in Ca now, everything seems good so far. The bike is definitely good, but we still need another step to be competitive with the suzuki's. I am up for the challenge, and I know the team is, so hopefully we can kick some ass. Give me a call if you want to come out and watch a race in America. Take care and best of luck to whatever you put your mind to.

So, as you can read, he believes the bike is very very good, but still needs a bit more to get it up there with Yoshimura Suzuki team

    He rides a Honda?

One must assume, then, that he's only keeping in touch because he fancies you, Shaun.

Canandians aren't into that sort of thing. They don't come oot, they just become Lumberjacks.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Shaun likes to think that alot of people fancy him with his flowing red hair, beautiful smile and being an all round nice guy. Now thats he has stopped racing, watch out America's next top model!

Any reason why you don't name the rider?

And then you can eliminate all of those older or younger than 34yrs. And if there is more than one aged 34, look for where they live.

Hodgson would be my guess too.
Nice you guys keep in touch. Maybe we can get more from the horse's mouth as the season goes on.
I'm really looking forward to the Hondas being more competitive, altho' Zemke and Miguel looked the best of the rest last year.
    Three weeks to Daytona!

    Cheers

His name had nothing to do with what I was posting for other race fans to read about the USA upcoming battles

And I did not want to come across as name dropper, I have been lucky enough to meet and know lots of top name riders around the world, and just did not see the importance in who said what!

I'm sure no one would be too surprised who you have come in contact with, Shaun.
But the post could be more relevant if it was, lets say Neil Hodgson mentioning how the CBR was shaping up with the backing of HRC and American Honda, or if it was umm Freddie Flyboy preparing for a D grade club scene at some small track in the middle of nowhere .......

Point taken mate, Yes , it was Neil Hodgson. Hope fully he will forward more stuff as the year goes on , I will post what he says I can for all to read here.

Neil is an awsome man, really down to earth, and totally as you see him, I have known him for 22 years now, and he is still the same guy!

He is going to become a good buddy of our very own Dom Jones, kind of like an extra mind for Dom to talk to, regarding his racing in the USA this year, I am sure they will get on well, and Neil will be a great help to DOM
