    mmmm

Dunno, I know lots of girls that tried to get into biking, but its just not a chick thing really.

I say, add some balance to your life, you can have a girl and a bike, they arent mutually exclusive as a rule.

PS - I retract any previous posts in defense of skid. Hey skid, you can be a cock at times you know...yes I guess you do.

Can always tell a biking noob, they think the bike is the important bit of motorcycling.

I love my girlfriend but she struggles to understand when i want to go for a ride by myself! She doesnt get the idea that a pillion makes the bike much less agile, and then gets shitty coz "u wuld rather spend time with the bike over me" In reality she gets far more attention but i think the idea of me lusting over "a machine" gets her really wild. lol anyone else get this problem? or should i be looking for a biker chick? A rare but sort after breed of woman....

Take her out on one of the Cruisy Wednesday night rides down here.

If you dont have gear for her, I have a helmet and gloves (they have a few holes in but they still work) and some Draggins you can borrow (you just need to find a jacket).

Show her what its all about when you go cruising over Dyers Pass. Dont scare her, take it easy then at the first stop ask her if she wants to dial it up a notch.

You never know you could get her hooked on riding and then you two can do something that you both love doing together.

Your best bet is to try and show her why you like riding the bike to much.

You should never tell her that you wont take her for a ride because it mucks up the handling etc That makes things much worse between her and the bike. She's probably just about seeing the bike like another woman thats competing for you at this stage.

Bring her along on the ride then.

There are a few riders who take pillions with them on the ride (just dont hit a cow ).

And you never know, you may enjoy just cruizing and looking at all the scenery that you normally blast past as you line up the next corner perfectly and concentrate on everything required to go fast.

the rare breed them thar wimins thats likith the bikith.

Once I got back ona bike again...my lil wench decided she liked it too..went out and bought herself a new leather jacket...and spent ages finding a helmet small enough to fit her lil wee head...(she wears a kids full face). Got to the point she would drive from Nelson to Blenheim to see me...then pay for gas to fill the bike to go for a ride to kaik or where ever and back again...plus food...her idea..she pays willingly. NOW she wants to get her own bike and sit her license..(but not a fucking GN...her words)..GOOD ON HER i say.....im happy she likes it...but at the same time....she always says...if I want to go to a rally or for a ride by myself...its ok...she's not going to get upset or try and stop me...and she never has. Guess Im one of the lucky ones.

Um it's kind of an essential part?

never said it was the most important...

no point having a nice toy if you cant ride it for shit.

really upsets people at track days on thier shiny new 16 grand cbr600....

and a 3k spraycan paintjob 250 passes them.

    but yer i'm just a n00b aye?

coming from the guy riding the tl1000? well known as a bike with a strong motor that cannot go around a corner to save itself?
