06 zx10r engine mounts

I pulled the r/h fairing off my zx10r last night to fit some crash bungs and found that the top r/h engine mount has a crack nearly the whole width of it has anyone had this problem before or even heard of it happening? the bikes never been droped so have been trying to work out what would cause this.

I wouldn't bother trying to work it out. Could have been from a dropped wheelie, could have been a massive bump in the road that jarred the bike.. the mount could have been done up way too tight.. most likely just a flaw in the process
either way, it's a warranty claim. Just go to Spectrum asa (they're the best ) and they'll sort it out for you in no time..

there have been instances of this recorded but not that many. usually after a prang.

my 06 10r took a fairly hefty wallop, enough to bend the swingarm quite badly but the frame itself was still pretty sound.
