    Bit nervous now.

Well, the van is loaded, we're all set, and it's just starting to sink in that we're about to head to the biggest race event of our careers.

I've done a dozen or so club events, and this just feels different, made worse by the fact that I'm sitting at home with squat to do, (other than house work). There are TV cameras and thousands of people watching Paeroa, and I'm just some hillbilly mofo with a moderate of riding ability with asperations of sticking it to the big boys.

Anybody else starting to feel the strain from the magnitude of what they are about to embark on?

    Think that's only natural Drew.

I reckon once you are there and are concentrating on what you are doing. Getting the bikes sorted. Gear on. And once you start the bike. You'll both do great...

    Dude and Dudette...Best of luck..

Isn't it great that we live somewhere that you can go from the bottom (club racing) straight to the the top (Nationals/Paeroa) without too much trouble.

Can't imagine doing that in anywhere like Aussie, US, or Europe? I guess some people would just say that shows what a poor road racing enviroment we have...but I think it is good.

I'll try these undies you speak of, but I'm an old fashioned guy, the gear you younger generation wear just doesn't make sense to me.

You guys will be oarsome! Safe travels

P.S. I hear not wearing undies makes it easier to slide off the seat.

Don't dwell on stuff too much. Just try to empty your brain and focus when you get there.
