    eek Advice Needed

I have had a small prob occur on Betty. 07 Honda 750 Shadow.
The oil cap (dip stick) popped while riding, the dip stick then lodged in the motor and was munched as the motor continued.
Wondering if anyone would know if I am able to remove exhaust cover etc and remove the portion of dip stick?
Would this small piece be in the cogs? or would it be best to flush the oil and hopefully the small piece would flush out?
    Betty is still under warranty.
    Thanks

Best just to let your Honda dealer sort it out if its still under warranty, then its on record just in case it affects any thing else later on.

Hey Shazz, nice choice of bike. Don't attempt to fix it yourself as this may cause complications with the warranty process. Take the bike back to your dealer and let them sort it out. This problem should'nt have occurred so should definately be covered under your warranty.

DON'T touch it Call your dealer and get it picked up.
Its not a tiny bit of plastic Im really worried about --its what caused the thing to "pop"
Most likely the darn thing will end up in the sump and do no harm BUT if it blocks an oilway or gets jammed in a camchain or cog Im sure Mr Honda aint likely to payout for a repair.
Its under warranty so let them sort it out.

    Thanks

Awesome for the advice everyone, and the mistake can be forgiven, lol.
Betty due for service so will get her hauled into the shop. Ah hope they fix it by Friday as we heading to Rotovegas for Triumphy rally. May have to stick the finger out for anyone passing from further down south, he he.
    Again thanks to all.
