    New Arai Chaser

Thought 5 Shoei's 1 Shark 1 AGV 1 AXO helmets was enough so money burning hole in my pocket of to shop to buy my new lid . This is for me the best helmet I have ever put on in comfort & those that own Shoei's know how great they fit so had to put a gold lens on as the RSVR just has to have one .Helmet is very quite i would say as good as my XR800 Shoei but twice as comfortable for me . Not the cheapest tho $900 for the helmet & $200 for the lens but you pay for what you think your head is worth at the end of the day & have seen what a top end Shoei can take when powered into the road & the rider still is OK ! Well a couple of pics for the interested

Heyyy exactly the same helmet as me...

I concur that it's a nice helmet, that is until you put on the RX7 line.

Arai are a great helmet - I'd love one like yours!

Just for interest's sake, how often should a helmet be replaced? I'd like a new helmet, and have heard that at 15yrs old mine's probably a bit long in the tooth ....

..... but really, like us chicks need an excuse to go shopping ......???

    Thumbs up

Yea I've got an Arai Chaser. Nice skid lid indeed. Find it alot quieter than my old arai.

That's a real nice lid you got there Sensei, but sounds like you might have been overcharged for the lid at least, been trying to think what I paid for mine but it was'nt $900 though.
