    Blah

Wow... what an awesome weekend... and thanks to Tart and Mstrs for the hospitality... and the ride on Saturday mmm thanks to Sugi for the advice will definately take it on board... Was good to meet some more KB's from the rest of NZ

As usual KB's know how to party... next time... will follow the Maha's option of the extra night

A big well done to Sticky... that was not mean feat... the ride down was pretty uneventful, but we seemed to find the rain and wind gods from plains on the Napier-Taupo highway to Taupo... then caught the rain on and off all the way back to Auckland... Got back safe and sound...

    Till next time...

    I really enjoyed this weekend!

Sometimes it is easy to say..."I met a some new faces and it was great", when you go somewhere new for a ride/party or what have you.

This weekend I met some new faces and it was GREAT!

I met some lovely people this weekend, some I knew their logons but had never really had anything to do with, some I had some online "fun" with.

Thanks to Jonet and Jan for being so elderly they felt they had to provide a venue and have a small gathering to bring some of us together!

    My Turn

Now that I'm coherent and don't feel like a blonde, its my turn.

Thank you J & J for the weekend. Being the first ever of being on the bike with me at the controls for that long...No tide they don't need to know how long It was so nice to have a huge hug from you Tart. It meant so much to me. I even got an awesome hug when arriving back in Auckland too

I had a blast, Deon thank you so much for staying with me when I know full well that your bike can do so much more than I was willing to

The ride down gave me so much more confidence and also coming back and having to contend with the rain and the wind. I don't feel the slightest bit apprehensive about going to the supermarket etc like I used to be. Might even attempt to ride to work tomorrow.

I knew that this weekend would have either told me that motorcycling is for me or its not. Well its definitely for me. I love it even in the rain and the wind. When I'm tired it is a WHOLE different ball game.... huh Tide?

Well next goal is to get my restricted so watch this space.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN AND JANET. Hope you both enjoyed your night as much as everyone else.

See you on Queens Birthday Weekend....Yes I will hopefully be riding down

Sorry I wasn't there for this awesome event John and Janet. Sounds like you all had a blast. I had a glass in memory of the day but forgot that it was already over in your time zone!

I think we're all the same on that one mate. Neil and I were talking about it just yesterday, and I told him I'd rather have the twisties on the way to a party rather than on the way back, after I've partied up and am knackered.
As lovely as the road we took was to get back up to Auckland, I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have due to the fact it felt like hard work...

But you did awesomely well mate...in no time will you be scouring the country side like a veteran pootler

*and I'll rub your sore spots anytime you like*

Well what can I say? An awesome weekend surrounded by family and friends. Good times for sure!
Highlights! too many to record on here, but seeing Stickchick ride up the driveway after an epic journey has to be right up there! You rock girl, we are so proud of you!
And Deon, thanks for looking after her so well!
Having Nasty and Grub pop in for a cup of coffee and a chat..couldn't persuade them to stay!
Bloody Mad Woman for going above and beyond the call of duty by pillioning Colapop up here..legend!
Mikkel..if you keep turning up in the Nth Is it won't be long before your reputation for riding will be up there with GIJOE's.
Nadroj, I was truly terrified! You have no idea!
The singalong session was hilarious.Ying Tong and Pigeon Pie???? WTF??
To all of you..thanks for coming. It was a fantastic party...because you were all here to make it that way We are truly blessed!

PS Anne, I found your pink t shirt..will bring it up next w/e.

Of course. That's what they're for, isn't it? But yours was the nicest....perhaps
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
