I can leave dannivegas before 9 .. I know where to turn off for highway 50 just not sure where to go at the other end .. so hope someone can met me

You got it. Take 50 at Takapau and follow your nose until....Do you know the gum tree turnoff? It's on the left 4/5kms after the monument, which is just past the Chook'n'Filly. Well marked as being the way to Napier. Take that road and I'll meet you at the next turnoff (about 8/10 kms). That one is a T intersection, where you will go left. Allow 1 hour (and a bit, maybe)

We're hoping to be at the party.
There is a possible fly in the ointment from the wife's side, that could eventuate that may stop us coming, but I'm hoping not.
