It's old fashioned 1950's rimu boards.

Well, most of it, one square where the old in-floor shower is now bathroom grade ply (you know, the stuff that doesn't mind water...)

This weekend is all about sanding and getting the dusty shite out of the way, so a week or two or three is fine by me/us...

Just be sure to PM me your fee - whether in buck folding or liquid variety (as well as suitable fuel costs!) so's I can let the Finance Minister know and have her release funds from the treasury.

May even be a banana cake in this... just don't tell Justin!

Yep - mine waited about 5 years after we built before the vinyl was put down - just sealed the floor and got on with other things.....

Then we had a burst water pipe under the house 6 months later and ended up with a big bulge in the floor where it had swelled from underneath. Had to rip it up, replace the floor and then re vinyl it .... (a year later)

Hell yeah! The rates are very good here for vinyl layers. Im paying around $10K per month to one guy & he is only part time! If I could get him 5 days a week I would.

And very important that room is too! Never fear Maha is GOOD at what he does...whistle out and hey presto it will be sorted. All I ask is that you dont insist he wears the super maha man outfit to your place, I find I cant breathe properly when he wears it.

Something about all the laughing takes my breath away

I've seen his patio laying skills... and whilst they are supreme for the parking of motrocycles on, a bathroom floor... well, yeah... *koff*

leave me out of it I'd end up hiring a digger to install the slabs of concrete into the bathroom through the impromptu skylight!

And then go about installing a wet n'wild splash tube into the bathtub and making the shower into a mini version of a car wash ...
